The Training Academy was established in 2009 by its present owner: Michelle Jackson.
The business was born out of Michelle’s pet peeve for poor customer service and incompetent, ineffective and poorly trained sales staff. “Sales and Customer service is the life blood of any business and therefore should be given the focus and attention it deserves” says Michelle.
With a career spanning over 20 years in Customer service, Key account management, Sales, and Training, Michelle decided to start her own business, offering fully customisable, cutting edge training solutions to the South African Business Market.
“Most training programs are generic and a “one size fits” all approach is hardly ever effective when it comes to training staff. This is because each business is unique and has their own specific training needs.” says Michelle. “A far better idea and approach is to assess the individual needs of the business and then design a training program to address only those specific needs. This ensures that the actual problem is addressed and time is not wasted on having staff attend hours and days of irrelevant training.”
